How do I clean and care for my Viktos gear?

Where are your products made?
VIKTOS is a USA based company, comprised of a small group of dedicated individuals, many of whom are veterans. Our business operations are based in our Wisconsin headquarters. We manufacture the majority of our products in Asia, with the remainder produced in the USA. While we dream of a day when we can produce more of our product line at home, the lack of domestic technical softgoods manufacturing capabilities, combined with very real economic factors, currently precludes that choice. We believe in our country and continue to explore every manner of expanding our domestic softgoods manufacturing percentage.

What does the One-Year manufacturing guarantee cover?
VIKTOS LLC stands behinds its products with a one-year manufacturing guarantee for all VIKTOS products. We guarantee that our products will stand up to the tasks and situations for which the product was intended to be used.

Damage due to wear and tear such as rips, tears, UV degradations, abrasions, neglect, misuse, abuse, or the natural breakdown of materials or adhesives over time will not be covered by the manufacturers guarantee.

The following is a list of “normal wear and tear” damage categories that will not be eligible for repair or replacement: Human error, snags, scrapes, holes cause by owner, fabric caught in zippers, unauthorized repairs, uses outside of intended uses, contact with other fabrics, issues with fit over time, zipper malfunctions, failure to follow care instructions, odor, burns of any kind, fading from sunlight, fabric or zippers stressed beyond their intended use, and damage from pets or animals.

If you think your product has failed prematurely due to poor construction or a defect in materials, please contact us at customerservice@viktos.com with detailed photos and descriptions of the defect for review. Our customer service team will review the warranty request and determine if it qualifies for return or repair. You will be notified of our decision as soon as your case is is reviewed. All warranty repairs or replacements are at VIKTOS LLC’s discretion.

Does Viktos ever offer special promotions or discounts?
Yes, we occasionally have special promotions, but we don’t display them on our site. Instead, we offer exclusive deals directly to our most dedicated followers via our email list. To receive the special offers and promotions, sign up for our email list at the bottom of the page. We guarantee not to share your information with anyone else.

Is there a Military or Service Discount?
We proudly offer a 20% discount to US veterans and all current members of the US military, law enforcement, and firefighters. To receive your discount, please email discounts@viktos.com with a copy of your valid service ID, or email us from an active government email address and we’ll provide you with an individual discount code to show our appreciation for your service.

When are orders processed?
Orders placed Monday-Friday before 1:00 p.m. CST are generally shipped same day using standard UPS Ground. Delivery is typically 2-6 business days. Quicker shipping methods are available at checkout, but aren’t always guaranteed. Please note that projected shipping dates are estimated and are calculated by the chosen shipping carrier. VIKTOS is not responsible for delays in shipping. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped the following Monday.
